上軌 – Tomica Premium Unlimited Harry Potter Hogwarts Express
想不到Tomica Premium Unlimited這台《哈利波特》霍格華茲特快車(Hogwarts Express) 竟然可以放上N軌推動，儘管我沒有倫敦國王十字車站的9又4分之3月台，但還是可以利用原有TOMIX及Kato場景，創造更多可能。
霍格華茲特快車是《哈利波特》系列中極具標誌性的魔法列車，每年9月1日準時於倫敦國王十字車站的9又4分之3月台出發，將學生從倫敦送往蘇格蘭的霍格華茲魔法與巫術學院。只有巫師才能穿越九號與十號月台之間的隱形隔牆進入這個神秘月台，麻瓜無法進入。列車外觀為紅色蒸汽火車頭與木造車廂，車廂內部設有多個隔間，高年級學生與級長擁有專屬車廂。車程途經壯麗的英國鄉間與著名的格蘭芬南高架橋，沿途風景優美。抵達終點活米村站後，一年級新生會由海格帶領坐船橫渡湖面，其餘學生則乘馬車進入校園。
霍格華茲特快車的列車最明顯的特徵是原型為英國GWR 4900 Class 5972 Olton Hall蒸汽火車頭的鮮紅色的蒸汽火車頭。車身以紅色為主調，配上黑色與金色的細節裝飾，車頭上方掛有「Hogwarts Express」金色標誌牌。每節車廂設有多個小隔間，外觀採用傳統木質車窗與車門設計。
Tomica曾於大阪環球影城推出包括Ford Anglia、Knight Bus以及Hogwarts Express車款，不過Tomica Premium Unlimited除火車頭外更加入乘客車卡，兩卡車外車輪大部份屬裝飾，實際車底有輪可以推動，碰巧闊度N Scale相同，可以「行駛」至月台，再拿另一台C57蒸汽機車比對，沒有違和感。蒸機重量明顯不均，機頭明顯重得多，客卡則輕飄飄。據Tomica Premium Unlimited官網指出，「Tomica Premium unlimited」是指在電影、電視劇、漫畫等各種場景中登場，讓人鮮明回想起其充滿魅力表現的車款，經過外型與細節到塗裝等層層講究，極致重現的Tomica模型。不僅是曾經玩過Tomica的大人，作品粉絲們也能拿在手上盡情享受，蘊含著無限（∞）可能性的「大人也會著迷的Tomica」系列。系列大部份為熱門動畫或電影，如頭文字D、回到未來、雷朋三世、速度與激情、MF Ghost、哈利波特，新世紀福音戰士新劇場版、名偵探柯南、高智能方程式、銀河鐵道999、四驅小子、四驅兄弟、TOKYO MER～行動急診室～等。未來應該有更多電影、動漫登場。
On Track – Tomica Premium Unlimited Harry Potter Hogwarts Express
Who would have thought that the Tomica Premium Unlimited Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter could actually run on N-gauge tracks? Even though I don’t have a Platform 9¾ at London King’s Cross, I can still use my existing TOMIX and Kato layouts to create endless possibilities.
The Hogwarts Express is one of the most iconic magical trains in the Harry Potter series. Every year on September 1st, it departs punctually from Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station in London, carrying students to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Scotland. Only wizards can enter this secret platform by passing through the barrier between Platforms 9 and 10—Muggles are none the wiser. The train features a red steam locomotive and classic wooden coaches, each compartmented, with special carriages reserved for prefects and older students. The scenic journey passes through the beautiful British countryside and over the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. Upon arrival at Hogsmeade Station, first-year students are led across the lake by Hagrid, while the others take carriages up to the castle.
The most distinctive feature of the Hogwarts Express is its bright red steam engine, based on the British GWR 4900 Class 5972 Olton Hall. The train sports a rich red livery with black and gold details, and the engine proudly displays a golden “Hogwarts Express” nameplate. Each coach has several small compartments and features traditional wooden windows and doors.
Tomica previously released models like the Ford Anglia, Knight Bus, and Hogwarts Express at Universal Studios Japan. However, the Tomica Premium Unlimited version not only includes the locomotive but also adds a passenger coach. Most of the wheels on both cars are for display, but there are functional wheels underneath that allow the train to roll—and, conveniently, the width matches N Scale. This means you can actually “drive” it onto a platform, and it looks right at home alongside models like the C57 steam locomotive. The weight distribution is a bit uneven, with the engine being noticeably heavier than the lightweight passenger car.
According to Tomica Premium Unlimited’s official website, this series features cars that appear in movies, TV shows, and comics—models that bring back vivid memories of their on-screen moments, faithfully recreated with attention to design, details, and paintwork. Not just for adults who grew up playing with Tomica, but also for fans of these works, these models offer the thrill of holding a piece of that magic in your hand. The “Tomica for Grown-Ups” series is filled with infinite (∞) possibilities. Most releases are based on hit anime and movies, such as Initial D, Back to the Future, Lupin the Third, Fast & Furious, MF Ghost, Harry Potter, Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition, Detective Conan, Future GPX Cyber Formula, Galaxy Express 999, Dash! Yonkuro, Bakusou Kyoudai Let’s & Go!!, and TOKYO MER: Mobile Emergency Room, with even more titles to come.
