正式來說，這台1/64合金車模應為Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe，是Alpina填補寶馬850 CSi尷尬地位的高性能改裝跑車。

作為GCD的姊姊品牌，Shadow Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe採取更平實的包裝，其他跟GCD沒有太大差異。合金車模跳燈附機關可以打開，但是要左右燈分開運作，頭尾燈均用上膠件設計，車牌仍保留BMW 850 CSi，但車尾卻有巨型ALPINA字樣，車身噴漆不錯，惟重量略輕，橙色車櫳亦有點不明所以，不過如果買看外觀，以及市場幾乎沒有這款的1/64，可以考慮。

This 1/64 scale diecast model represents the Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe, a high-performance variant that filled the void left by BMW’s 850 CSi in the performance hierarchy.
The Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe, launched in 1992, was the ultimate evolution of the BMW 850CSi platform. With only 57 units produced, it featured an Alpina-tuned 5.7-liter V12 engine delivering 416hp at 5,300rpm and 570Nm of torque. Transmission options included a six-speed manual or Alpina’s innovative Shift-Tronic automatic system, enabling 0-100km/h acceleration in just 5.8 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300km/h. The B12 5.7’s distinctive features included a carbon fiber hood with central NACA duct, signature Alpina 18-inch multi-spoke wheels wrapped in 245/40 front and 285/35 rear tires. Chassis modifications were minimal, with only slight adjustments to the front suspension height, maintaining the 850CSi’s excellent handling characteristics. The interior showcased Alpina’s signature style with blue-green striped leather upholstery. As GCD’s sister brand, Shadow presents the Alpina B12 5.7 Coupe in more modest packaging while maintaining similar quality standards. The diecast model features working pop-up headlights with independent left/right operation and plastic components for both front and rear lights. While retaining the BMW 850 CSi license plate, it prominently displays the ALPINA lettering on the rear. The paint finish is commendable, though the model feels somewhat light, and the orange wheels seem questionable. Despite these minor issues, given its unique status as one of the few 1/64 representations of this vehicle and its overall aesthetic appeal, it merits consideration for collectors.
