金手指 – MINI GT Aston Martin DB5 “Goldfinger”

早年京商曾經推出過007系列盒蛋，絕版已久加上比例為1:72，令人望而卻步。今次MINI GT這款1:64版本應該較易獲車迷所接受。Aston Martin DB5 “Goldfinger”為1964年上映的《鐵金剛大戰金手指》主角辛康納利Sean Connery所飾演的特務007座駕，在電影中除了由Q作介紹外，亦於戲中多場追逐戲中登場，據悉電影公司Eon Production為DB5「加裝」15項武器及設備：推開前車用的伸縮泵把撞錘、指揮燈內的機槍、旋轉車牌、車尾噴油器、噴煙機、防彈板、車輪的迴旋刀、彈射座椅、車用雷達、電話等。有趣的是車牌BMT 216A為DB5本車的真實車牌。廠方先後製作四部「加料」版DB5，兩部供拍攝追車畫面及車內鏡頭，另外兩部則於後期宣傳下一部007電影《鐵金鋼勇破魔鬼黨》之用，四台車之中有一台至今下落不明。
MINI GT幾經波折終於取得電影授權，作為紀念《鐵金剛大戰金手指》上映60周年，MINI GT率先將007座駕Aston DB5 “Goldfinger”製作模型車。吊卡包裝有當年電影海報，分英文、法文及日文三個版本，今次評測的是英文版本。MINI GT亦一一還原，撞錘、機槍、迴旋刀、防彈板等，將道具車帶到模型世界，畢竟，由Chris Corbould把電影道具車上的占士邦特務裝置加到Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation，車價達275萬英磅，都係過過手癮算。

If you missed out on the 25 units of Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation released a few years ago, MINI GT’s latest release of James Bond’s iconic Aston Martin DB5 from “007: Goldfinger” is a must-have for collectors.
While Kyosho previously released a 007 series capsule toy in 1:72 scale, which has long been discontinued and less appealing to enthusiasts, MINI GT’s new 1:64 scale version is likely to receive a warmer welcome from collectors. The Aston Martin DB5 “Goldfinger,” featured in the 1964 film starring Sean Connery as 007, made its memorable appearance after Q’s introduction and in several chase sequences. Eon Productions equipped the DB5 with 15 special gadgets and weapons, including an extending front ramming bumper, machine guns behind the turning signals, rotating number plates, oil slick sprayer, smoke screen, bulletproof shields, wheel-mounted tire slashers, ejector seat, radar system, and car phone. Interestingly, the license plate BMT 216A was the actual registration of the original DB5. The production company created four modified DB5s – two for chase scenes and interior shots, and two for promoting the next 007 film “Thunderball.” One of these four vehicles remains missing to this day.
After securing the movie rights, MINI GT has produced this model to commemorate the 60th anniversary of “Goldfinger.” The hanging card packaging features the original movie poster in three variants – English, French, and Japanese, with our review focusing on the English version. MINI GT has meticulously recreated all the spy gadgets, including the ramming bumper, machine guns, tire slashers, and bulletproof shields. While Chris Corbould’s work on the Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation, priced at £2.75 million, may be out of reach, this detailed replica offers an accessible way to own a piece of Bond history.
