如果有400萬元？為何不買新波子，要買Singer 964 Targa？我也不知道，反正錢我沒有，惟有買POP RACE 1/64模型車「曾經擁有」就算。

美國Singer Vehicle Design以1989-1994年間生產的保時捷964 Targa為基礎，改用碳纖維車身以大幅減重。Singer將原廠3.6升引擎擴大至4.0升，馬力提升至約390匹。車輛保留964經典線條，但改用寬體設計、復古式Fuchs輪圈等。海外媒體指，Singer 964 Targa不僅外觀吸引，駕駛體驗更是出色，擁有優異的操控性能和令人震撼的引擎聲浪。作為限量訂製車型，每部Singer 964 Targa的起價約為50萬美元，香港亦有幾部。

POP RACE今次選用了Gulf Livery的粉藍加橙，以及類似HK15的港版金屬灰為新車配色。上色兩車各有千秋，Gulf Livery對比強烈，連帶座椅也是橙色賣相；銀底油灰色配白色車相對低調。不過兩車造工均不錯，膠件青蛙燈、指揮燈及尾燈組配電鍍燈框、電鍍子彈鏡、銀色五輻Fuchs輪圈等，雖然沒有組件，但仍然是POP RACE佳作之一。未來應該有更多不同塗裝陸續上市。

If you had $4M, would you buy a new Porsche or a Singer 964 Targa? I’m not sure myself, but since I don’t have that kind of money, I’ll have to settle for “owning” the POP RACE 1/64 scale model car instead.

American company Singer Vehicle Design uses the Porsche 964 Targa, produced between 1989 and 1994, as the foundation. They replace the body panels with carbon fiber to significantly reduce weight. Singer increases the original 3.6-liter engine to 4.0 liters, boosting the power to about 390 horsepower. The vehicle retains the 964’s classic lines but adopts a wide-body design and retro-style Fuchs wheels. International media report that the Singer 964 Targa is not only visually appealing but also offers an outstanding driving experience, with excellent handling and a stunning engine sound. As a limited custom model, each Singer 964 Targa starts at around $500,000, with a few examples in Hong Kong.

POP RACE has chosen two color schemes for their new models: the Gulf Livery’s powder blue and orange, and a metallic gray similar to the Hong Kong version HK15. Both paint jobs have their merits – the Gulf Livery offers a strong contrast, even featuring orange seats, while the silver-based gray with white details is more understated. Both models boast impressive craftsmanship, featuring plastic frog-eye headlights, turn signals, and taillights with chrome-plated bezels, chrome bullet mirrors, and silver five-spoke Fuchs wheels. Although there are no moving parts, this is still one of POP RACE’s finest works. We can expect more color variations to be released in the future.
