《香港車仔展2024》圓滿結束 非本地參觀人士佔三成

香港模型車文化推廣平台《手推車》由9月13至15日於荔枝角D2 Place ONE舉行全港最大型車仔主題嘉年華《香港車仔展2024》(「車仔展」)。展商包括本地品牌Tarmac Works、POP RACE、BM Creations、Tiny微影、ACT、Greenlight Collectibles (港資擁有)、澳門品牌INNO64;中國內地品牌拓意、GCD、CM Model,以及日本品牌Ignition Model、HobbyJAPAN等,現場同時設有模型車市集讓大家買得心頭水。三日展期有來自東南亞、中東、南非以至巴西的玩具收藏家赴港買「車」,連同中國內地參觀人士,佔總人數三成。

今年車仔屢以「港瘋」為主題,結合食、買、玩三個重要元素,並加入香港重要標記如茶餐應、鐵路、霓虹燈等元素,打造五光十色的夢幻舞台!同時Xbox帶來以香港為背景的賽車遊戲《Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown》(車魂:無限賽 日冕)作即場體驗與主題互相呼應。本地品牌緣月咖啡、上水爆谷、瘋啤、Boldly Gift等合作,推出《香港車仔展2024》限定包裝產品。今年更聯手本地品牌Get Shirt Done,首次推出聯乘T-shirt,展現對香港品牌的支持

《香港車仔展2024》策展人、Market Hubs董事總經理李鑒泉(Lierence)表示,「有不少旅客專程赴港參觀香港車仔展,成績令人鼓舞。本地消費亦持續暢旺,個別展商營業額創歷屆新高,亦有海內外屢商率先了解來年的參展安排。」他續指不少有潛力的主辦方都希望有更多不同的展覽會議場地可供選擇。

The Hong Kong Toycar Salon 2024 Concludes Successfully

The fourth edition of the Hong Kong Toycar Salon has successfully concluded after a three-day event, with limited and special editions from local brands drawing significant attention. Notably, 30% of the attendees were from Mainland China and overseas.

The Hong Kong Toycar Salon 2024 (hereinafter referred to as “Toycar Salon”), the largest toy car-themed carnival in Hong Kong, was organized by the local model car culture platform Handcart and took place from September 13th to 15th at D2 Place ONE in Lai Chi Kok. Exhibitors included local brands such as Tarmac Works, POP RACE, BM Creations, Tiny Micro, ACT, and Greenlight Collectibles (Hong Kong-owned), as well as Macau-based INNO64. Mainland China brands like Xcartoys, GCD, and CM Model were also present, along with Japanese brands such as Ignition Model and HobbyJAPAN. The venue also featured a model car marketplace, allowing collectors to find their favorite pieces. Throughout the three-day event, toy collectors from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South Africa, and even Brazil came to Hong Kong to shop for toy cars—combined with Mainland Chinese visitors, they made up 30% of the total attendees.

This year, the Toycar Salon adopted the theme “Hong Kong Craze,” combining three key elements: food, shopping, and play. The event also incorporated iconic Hong Kong symbols such as cha chaan teng (local cafes), railways, and neon signs to create a vibrant, dreamlike setting. Additionally, Xbox showcased its Hong Kong-themed racing game, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, for live demonstrations, aligning with the event’s theme. Local brands like Yuen Yuen Coffee, Sheung Shui Popcorn, Mad Beer, and Boldly Gift collaborated to launch limited-edition products for the Toycar Salon 2024. For the first time, the event also partnered with the local brand Get Shirt Done to release co-branded T-shirts, highlighting support for Hong Kong brands.

Lierence Li, Curator of the Hong Kong Toycar Salon 2024 and Managing Director of Market Hubs, expressed his excitement: “It’s truly encouraging to see so many international visitors coming specifically to attend the Toycar Salon in Hong Kong. Local consumer interest remains strong, with some exhibitors achieving record-breaking sales. Several domestic and international exhibitors have already begun inquiring about next year’s event.” He also noted that many potential organizers are eager for more diverse event venues to be made available.
