今年模型車上除了大量的玉桂狗「玉照」外,車頂更有Tarmac Works十周年圖案,「Every day is happy when I’m with my favorite friend!!」

After previous collaborations featuring Hello Kitty and Kuromi, this year’s Macau Grand Prix sees Uno Racing Team partnering with Tarmac Works and Sanrio to dress the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II in a Cinnamoroll-themed livery. Hong Kong driver Adderly Fong will pilot the #36 machine in the FIA GT World Cup. Beyond the on-track action, Tarmac Works will naturally be offering the matching 1/64 scale model!

Introduced by Sanrio in 2001, Cinnamoroll’s name derives from his cinnamon roll-shaped tail. The character lore describes him as a white puppy born from clouds in the sky, who flies using his big ears. Known for his gentle personality and love of people, he calls Café Cinnamon his home. Winning the Sanrio Character Ranking in 2001 and 2003, then reclaiming the crown in 2022 and 2024, Cinnamoroll has become Sanrio’s most commercially valuable IP after Hello Kitty. The livery features soft blue and white tones with cloud and balloon motifs—a stark contrast to the darker Kuromi theme from previous years.

Performance-wise, the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II packs a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 585 hp (subject to BoP adjustments) and over 550 Nm of torque. Weighing 1,235 kg, it features a 6-speed sequential gearbox with rear-wheel drive and an aluminium-carbon fiber composite chassis. The evo II variant, launched in 2022, received optimizations across five areas: aerodynamics, engine characteristics, suspension, and traction control. Adderly won the Privateers Cup (Silver Cup’s predecessor) in 2016, finished runner-up last year after a late-race collision, and will be tackling the Guia Circuit for the 11th time.

If you’ve collected the previous years’ Sanrio racing models, there’s really no reason to skip this one. Beyond abundant Cinnamoroll graphics, the model features Tarmac Works’ 10th anniversary logo on the roof, “Every day is happy when I’m with my favorite friend!!” on the engine bay panel, plus detailed head/tail lights, roll cage, and all the trimmings—absolutely loaded.
