KL之約 – MINI GT Mazda RX-7 RE-Amemiya Chrome Blue One Night in Malaysia 2025

去年去過MINI GT舉辦的One Night in Beijing，今年我們就去了馬來西亞吉隆坡的One Night in Malaysia，當中的主角莫過於這台Mazda RX-7 RE-Amemiya Chrome Blue One Night in Malaysia 2025。

除限量版外，我認為活動的焦點是品牌主理人Glen、Kaido House Jun Imai對於品牌方向、新品的解讀，以及Q&A等等，現場亦擺放了多款灰模及鐵模，飾櫃都逼得水泄不通。簽名環節亦大受歡迎，對車迷而言，能夠近距離與品牌負責人見面，可以當面詢問不少疑問，雖然搞一場類似活動成本不菲，但此舉對品牌有正面幫助，故吸引不少品牌仿傚。

模型車的原型車是奪得2023東京改裝車展大賞的RE AMEMIYA Anniversary-7 (20B NA 3ROTAR-7 aka 雨さん号)，又名「Ama-san Go」，以紀念雨宮勇美77歲生日，雨宮勇美21歲時創辦改裝車店及成立車隊，及後成立雨宮汽車專門改裝萬事得轉子引擎，其改裝車在 JGTC 等國際賽事及改裝界均大獲好評。今年年初MINI GT便在東京改裝車展雨宮展位中出售，結果當然是大排長龍。而One Night in Malaysia 2025則將原來的藍色車身更改成電鍍藍色，頭冚、頭唇、尾翼等保留碳纖紋，車身則有不同改裝商如ADVAN、ENDLESS等標誌，不過螺絲上得太緊無法扭開，不然可以觀賞一下內櫳造工。其他如頭尾燈等通通過關，只是金色輪圈個人認為與車身互相搶焦點，不過只屬個人喜好。如果以Event Car而言，MINI GT的確有做功夫，令到入場人士覺得值回票價。

Following the success of last year’s “One Night in Beijing,” the team traveled to Kuala Lumpur this year for the highly anticipated “One Night in Malaysia.” The undisputed star of the show was the exclusive MINI GT Mazda RX-7 RE-Amemiya Chrome Blue (One Night in Malaysia 2025 Edition).

Highlights: Industry Icons and Future Releases

Beyond the limited edition model, the true core of the event was the interaction with brand leadership. Glen Chou (MINI GT Director) and Jun Imai (Kaido House) provided valuable insights into the brand’s future direction and upcoming releases during the Q&A session.

The venue featured display cabinets packed with gray prototypes and diecast samples, drawing crowds so dense the area was nearly impassable. The autograph session was equally popular, offering collectors a rare opportunity to ask questions and meet the creators face-to-face. While hosting an event of this magnitude is costly, the positive impact on brand loyalty is undeniable, setting a trend for other manufacturers to follow.

Model Review: 1:64 Mazda RX-7 RE-Amemiya (Chrome Blue)

The Prototype Background
The model is based on the RE AMEMIYA Anniversary-7 (also known as “Ama-san Go”), which won the Grand Prix at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon. Built to celebrate the 77th birthday of legendary tuner Isami Amemiya, the car represents the pinnacle of rotary engine tuning. Amemiya founded his shop at age 21 and became famous for his rotary-powered machines dominating series like JGTC (Super GT).

The Diecast Details
Earlier this year, the standard version sold out instantly at the Tokyo Auto Salon. For the Malaysia event, MINI GT reimagined the car in a striking Chrome Blue.

• Exterior: The carbon fiber textures on the hood, front lip, and rear wing are well-preserved. The livery features sharp logos from ADVAN and ENDLESS.
• Construction: The head and tail lights pass with flying colors. However, the base screws were over-tightened, making it impossible to disassemble and inspect the interior craftsmanship.
• Aesthetics: While subjective, the gold wheels compete slightly with the chrome body for visual attention.

As an “Event Car,” MINI GT has put in significant effort. The quality and exclusivity make the entry ticket feel well worth the price for attendees.
