吸得住 – Motorhelix Honda S2000 2024 All IN TUNING Foshan EXPO Edition

在4月北京舉行的中國國際模型博覽會(HEC)上第一次見到Motorhelix開發的磁石拆件設計驚為天人，到9月ALL IN TUNING佛山改装展品牌展出更多樣品以及出貨版本的本田S2000會場版，技藝又再提升上一個層次。

Honda S2000是為慶祝本田50週年而推出的後驅雙座敞篷跑車，分為99至03年的AP1前期型與04至09年的AP2後期型。AP1搭載2.0升F20C自然進氣VTEC引擎，馬力250ps/8,300rpm，峰值扭力22.2kgm/7,500rpm，擁有11.7:1的高壓縮比，搭配6速棍波。AP2則採用2.2升F22C1引擎，馬力略降至242ps/7,800rpm，但中段扭力提升至22.6kgm/6,500rpm，紅線從8,800rpm降至8,000rpm，使日常駕駛更為平順，十年間全球累計銷量達113,889輛，其中全球限量1,755輛的Type S與更輕量化的CR版更成收藏家最愛。

今次ALL IN TUNING特別版有專屬包裝，盒中分為9大部件，包括底盤連引擎、車殼、頭冚、兩張桶椅、軟篷、硬頂、中控台、摺疊式軟篷等，可以炮製出開篷、軟篷及硬頂三個版本。其中奧妙在於各部件上的小小磁石，原理簡單但操作不容易，對於部件的完成度要求高，否則隨時走位，當然以現時的設定頭冚只能選擇安裝或拆除而沒有打開設計，但對拍攝而言已經可以增加很多不同變化，F20C引擎上有Honda VTEC字樣，另外看到喚管線路等，軟篷、硬頂安裝上去不太留痕跡，反而是頭冚的空隙比較大，容易「出戲」，以及硬頂似乎太高的情況。未來相信會推出更多不同的配件組合出不同可能。

First unveiled at the Hobby Expo China (HEC) in Beijing this April, Motorhelix’s innovative magnetic component design for their diecast models left enthusiasts in awe. By September’s ALL IN TUNING Foshan Modified Car Show, the brand showcased an expanded lineup including the production version of their Honda S2000 show special, demonstrating yet another leap in craftsmanship.

The Honda S2000 was launched as Honda’s 50th-anniversary celebration model, featuring a rear-wheel-drive, two-seater convertible configuration. The lineup included the AP1 (1999-2003) and AP2 (2004-2009) variants. The AP1 featured a 2.0L F20C naturally aspirated VTEC engine producing 250ps at 8,300rpm and 22.2kgm of torque at 7,500rpm, with an impressive 11.7:1 compression ratio, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The AP2 received a 2.2L F22C1 engine with slightly reduced power at 242ps/7,800rpm but improved mid-range torque of 22.6kgm at 6,500rpm, with redline lowered from 8,800rpm to 8,000rpm for better daily drivability. During its decade-long production, 113,889 units were sold worldwide, with the limited-edition Type S (1,755 units) and lightweight CR version becoming highly sought-after collector’s items.

This ALL IN TUNING special edition comes in exclusive packaging containing 9 major components: chassis with engine, body shell, hood, two bucket seats, soft top, hardtop, dashboard, and folding convertible mechanism. These parts can be configured into three versions: open-top, soft-top, or hardtop. The magic lies in the small magnets embedded in each component – simple in principle but demanding in execution, requiring high manufacturing precision to prevent misalignment. While the hood is limited to removal rather than opening, the model offers numerous photographic possibilities. Details include Honda VTEC branding on the F20C engine and visible intake manifold routing. While the soft-top and hardtop integrate seamlessly, the hood shows slightly larger panel gaps that may affect realism, and the hardtop appears somewhat tall. Future releases are expected to bring more accessory combinations and possibilities.
