紅的 – Hung Hing Toys Toyota Crown Comfort Taxi
即使係張家輝,最後都係選擇搭紅的,撇除一部分害群之馬,紅的為代表的香港的士,仍然是這個城市的一張亮麗的名片。

自1997年起,豐田石油氣的士在香港開始投入服務,逐步取代傳統柴油的士。政府並於2000年推出資助計劃,以石油氣的士替換柴油的士,以改善空氣質素,帶動大量車主採用較環保的車型。2008年起,為符合更嚴格的排放要求,豐田的士由5座位改為4座位。現行主力型號為 Toyota Crown Comfort,配備 2.0 L 直列四缸 VVT-i 引擎,最大馬力 114 PS/4,800 rpm、最大扭力 19.3 kg·m/3,600 rpm,4 前速自動波箱、後輪驅動,車身尺碼為長 4,695 mm、闊 1,695 mm、高 1,525 mm,車重約 1,400 kg。
鴻興玩具雖然不是第一間推出1/64紅的的品牌,但可能是最有誠意的一間,底座已經預設成開門造型,營業證、行車證、接客旗、甚至連車尾天線等無一缺少,HH1993則代表鴻興本身。不過因為門太緊的關係,一不小心就將用來借力的側鏡折斷,開門果真要小心翼翼。車櫳前後座設計有別,中控台亦有用浮雕呈現,有花心思。同期除了新界及大嶼山的士外,還有一款黑的,最初以為是澳門的士,但除顏色外一切與的士無異,大家都知道「黑的」敏感嘛。據知香港車仔展似乎會有特別版出現。





Red Taxi – Hung Hing Toys Toyota Crown Comfort Taxi
Even today, the “red taxi” remains an iconic symbol of Hong Kong—still a vibrant business card for the city, representing its urban pulse, despite a few bad apples in the industry.

Since 1997, Toyota’s four-seater LPG taxis began appearing on Hong Kong’s streets, gradually replacing older diesel models. In 2000, the government introduced a subsidy scheme to encourage owners to switch from diesel to LPG taxis, boosting adoption of this more environmentally friendly vehicle and helping to improve air quality. From 2008 onwards, in order to comply with stricter emission standards, Toyota taxis transitioned from five seats to four. The current mainstay is the Toyota Crown Comfort, equipped with a 2.0L inline-four VVT-i engine delivering 114 PS at 4,800 rpm and 19.3 kg·m of torque at 3,600 rpm. It features a 4-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, and measures 4,695 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width, 1,525 mm in height, with a curb weight of 1,400 kg.
While Hung Hing Toys wasn’t the first brand to launch a 1/64 scale red taxi, it’s arguably one of the most dedicated. The model features opening doors as standard, and no detail is left out: taxi licenses, registration decals, “For Hire” flags, and even the rear antenna are all faithfully reproduced. The license plate “HH1993” is a nod to Hung Hing itself. However, because the doors are fitted quite tightly, it’s easy to accidentally snap the side mirrors if you use them for leverage—so take extra care when opening them. The interior is thoughtfully crafted, with distinct designs for the front and rear seats, and the dashboard is rendered in relief, showing real attention to detail.
Alongside the red urban taxi, the same series also includes the green New Territories taxi and the blue Lantau taxi, as well as an all-black version. At first glance, some might mistake the black taxi for a Macau cab, but aside from the color, it’s identical in every way to the standard taxi—though everyone knows “black taxi” is a sensitive term in Hong Kong.
