露筍3 – Tarmac Works Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III

Tarmac Works Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III Scale Model
Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars continue to captivate collectors, and Tarmac Works’ release of the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III is sure to find its audience, given the model’s quality execution.

Launched in February 1995, the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III was the ultimate evolution of the first-generation Evo series based on the fourth-generation Lancer. This high-performance sedan was developed by Mitsubishi’s motorsport division to comply with WRC Group A regulations, following the principles of “lightweight, high rigidity, high power.”
The Evolution III featured a reinforced 4G63 2.0L inline-four DOHC turbocharged engine, producing 270 horsepower and 309Nm of torque. Combined with Active Yaw Control all-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual transmission, it could accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 240km/h. Weighing just 1,260kg, it was one of the lightest Evolution models. Key features included its massive rear wing, enlarged front bumper intakes with integrated air guides to enhance brake and drivetrain cooling. Body rigidity improved 20% over the Evo II, with comprehensively upgraded suspension. Two variants were produced: the street-oriented GSR and the lightweight, competition-focused RS.
This Tarmac Works model features an all-black finish with precisely detailed front and rear lights, sculpted hood vents, “EVOLUTION III” side skirt lettering, “LANCER III” rear badging, and impressive white OZ Racing five-spoke wheels.
